I can tell already, attending shows will be my favourite part of my new job as Staff Photographer! Today, Publisher John and I attended the Port Perry Antique Show & Sale, at the Scugog Community Recreation Centre. With a very affordable cover charge, ample parking, and even coffee on site, the location was a great place for a big show like this. They had everything from vintage cameras (John’s favourite), glassware, tins, jewelry, comics, and so much more. The vendors were extremely knowledgeable about their items and were able to give great history about where some of the items came from. Everyone
was so friendly, and we were able to make some great connections and see many familiar faces. The show is an annual event, and they may even squeeze in a February show as well!
